Zimbabwe are likely to be strengthened on the eve of the 1st ODI against India with Sean Williams reporting to training in Harare. The veteran all-rounder had missed the series against Bangladesh due to injury and was not named in the squad to face India. However, the 35-year-old was pictured in training a day before the game, leading to suggestions that he could very well be drafted into the side.

Williams is one of Zimbabwe’s finest cricketers among the current crop with a wealth of experience under his belt. A former captain of the side, the left-hander has played 137 ODIs, scoring 4,095 at an average of 35.03.  With the ball he has 72 wickets to his name, adding balance and stability to the Zimbabwe line-up.
