Rafael Nadal baby birth: Rafael Nadal has become a father to a baby boy as he and wife Maria Francisca Perello welcomed their newborn on Saturday. Nadal and Perello married three years ago and became parents for the first time. The pregnancy of Perello has been a complicated affair as she had to be admitted in the hospital last month itself and needed special care and attention. Infact Rafael Nadal too had to withdraw from the Laver Cup this year to be by the side of his wife. However the successful birth of their first child now is sure to bring joy to the Nadal household.
Rafael Nadal has already had a good season so far as he won the Australian Open title and the French Open title this year to become the first man in the history of the sport to win 22 Grand Slam titles. He is currently ranked World No.2 behind compatriot Carlos Alcaraz. Nadal last featured on the ATP Tour in singles during the US Open this year in which he faced a fourth round exit after losing to Frances Tiafoe. He then played in the doubles at the Laver Cuppartnering his friend and rival Roger Federer in the latter’s farewell match. He is now expected to return to action at the Paris Masters in November.
