Red Bull’s Max Verstappen had a great day in the office as he secured the first spot in the FP2 session after a great flying lap. He was followed by Charles Leclerc in the second spot and Carlos Sainz, who is desperate for a good result under his belt finished third overall.

F1 Canadian GP FP2: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen takes the throne on Friday, Ferrari’s Leclerc and Sainz settle for second and third position
Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel takes the fourth spot as he had a great day out on the track. He was followed by another veteran Fernando Alonso in the fifth spot. Pierre Gasly after a great weekend last time round claimed the sixth spot. Meanwhile, he was followed by George Russell in the seventh spot.
Both the McLarens were both as Lando Norris took home the eighth spot and Daniel Ricciardo settled for the ninth position. Alpine’s Esteban Ocon had to settle for a tenth place finsugh.

F1 Canadian GP FP2: Red Bull’s Max Verstappen takes the throne on Friday, Ferrari’s Leclerc and Sainz settle for second and third position
Unfortunately, Red Bull’s Sergio Perez saw himself down in the eleventh spot as he struggled the whole Friday. Meanwhile, Lance Stroll in his home race had to settle for a twelfth spot. He was followed by Mercedes’ Lewis Hamilton as he too struggled the whole day and finished thirteenth overall.
Kevin Magnussen had to settle for a fourteenth place and he was followed by teammate Mick Schumacher in the fifteenth position. Guanyu Zhou is the other driver who desperately needs a good result under his belt as he finished sixteenth.
AlphaTauri’s Yuki Tsunoda struggled on the first day of the Canadian GP as he took home the seventeenth spot. Both the Williams followed as Alex Albon took home the eighteenth spot and was followed by Nicholas Latifi in the nineteenth position.
Last but not least, Valtteri Bottas finished in the twentieth spot as he only managed three laps in the FP2 session.
