FIFA World Cup: USA becomes first team to arrive at Qatar, excitement grows as other teams set to arrive soon – Check Out
A number of players boarded a Qatar Airways aircraft from New York, which was one of the first to use a new section of Hamad International Airport. Walker Zimmerman, Aaron Long, Shaq Moore, Jordan Morris, Kellyn Acosta, Jes Ferreira, DeAndre Yedlin, and Cristian Roldán, together with manager Gregg Berhalter, have arrived at the team hotel and have already begun preparations for the opening game against Wales on November 21.

The remaining of the group, including captain Christian Pulisic, will travel after their responsibilities to their club clubs, which are based in Europe and have domestic league games to play this weekend. This includes Tyler Adams and Brody Aaronson of Leeds United, who also have games this weekend.
The American team is staying at the Marsa Malaz Kempinski on the Pearl, a man-made island north of Doha popular with foreigners. They will train roughly 15 kilometers away at the Al Gharafa club field.

- 15 November: Denmark, England, Netherlands, Ecuador
- 16 November: Senegal, Wales, France, Argentina
- 17 November: Saudi Arabia, Germany, Canada, Poland, Mexico
- 18 November: Belgium, Spain, Japan, Croatia, Ghana, Costa Rica
- 19 November: Cameroon, Portugal, Serbia, Uruguay, Brazil
