CPL 2022: Royals qualified, GAW eliminated from CPL 2022 – After finishing last on the points table in 2021, Royals have speedily turned fortunes in CPL 2022. They won six matches on the bounce and suffered their only defeat in their seventh match. Under David Miller’s leadership, the side has played a stellar brand of cricket and have delivered with bat and ball. The royals have booked their place in the playoffs of CPL 2022. Meanwhile, the Warriors have been eliminated from CPL 2022. They are placed last on the points table and have only won one game.
The Warriors have lost four games, and even winning all games from here won’t guarantee them a place in the playoffs. On the other hand, SLK and JT are placed second and third respectively on the points table. Both teams look prim to join the Royals in the playoffs. SLK and JT have a positive net run rate and that should stand them in good stead.
